Sydney, Saige, Sawyer & Sutton! {Charleston Family Photography}

Not only did Amelia's mom invite me to Charleston to photograph her family, but she arranged for me to photograph her friends and their families as well! This ADORABLE bunch was a lot of fun, they all played so well together and were incredibly polite. Their session was all play and no work for me, they kids were that amazing! Miss Amelia is all grown up!

I photographed Miss Amelia and her momma here in LA back when Amelia was just a crawler and now that she is up and walking she was due for some new photos. Since Amelia and her family live in Charleston  S.C. I wasn't expecting to get to photograph her again but to my surprise her family invited me to Charleston to document Amelia... of course I jumped at the chance and I'm SO glad I did. Charleston is a city I've always wanted to visit and Amelia's family even invited my fiance to come along with me! What a beautiful city... I particularly enjoyed the endless amounts of fried southern food, amazing history, and friendly faces. The ONLY downsides were the bugs and the humidity but eventually I learned to cope with both.

Now on to Miss Amelia... she was just as cute as I remembered, only this time she was full of even more personality! I got to spend the afternoon with her and together we laughed, we cried, and played a lot of "ring around the rosie". Her two brothers were just as adorable as she was! They simply adored their baby sister and were eager to help get her to smile for the camera which helped make my job a bit easier :) I had a blast photographing this beautiful family at their home in Charleston, (which by the way was the most amazing home I have ever seen... definitely unlike anything we have here in CA) they were generous hosts and great company...

Darling Sisters Katie and Keely {Simi Valley Family Photographer}

As usual, loved, loved, LOVED this fam! This was one of those shoots where I left feeling totally exhausted and soooo happy! Love that feeling - they just are the sweetest people and baby Keely and her older sis Katie were SO fun to photograph. It is nearing Keely's first birthday so she had the traditional Dol photographs and wore her amazing pink ensemble - even the grandparents were there to be in the images! Later little Keely changed into play clothes and we did some photos in the nursery where she peered into the hamper - something she often does that tickles her parents - I love when we can capture an element of a stage in a child's life that the parents want to remember and share with the kiddo later. :) At the end of the session, princess Katie got her own mini photo shoot with her Disney princess wedding dress on and convinced her Dad to wear his tux - ultimate cuteness! I feel like that is one of those classic shots that is unforgettable. Thanks guys - it was wonderful, here is a sneak peek, can't wait to share the rest!
