I've been photographing Logan since he was a baby so it was great catching up with him and his parents last week at the beach! Logan is not only walking now but he's running and has the cutest little personality. It's been great watching him grow up and being able to document it for his family... enjoy!

I've been to A TON of pregnancy and mommy events in my day both professionally as a vendor and/or photographer and now personally as an expecting mommy. They all claim to have the best vendors, raffles, give-aways, speakers, and food but I finally feel compelled to share one with you all!
When Dr. Berlin found out we were finally expecting he reached out and invited my husband and I to attend the "ultimate prenatal date night" they hold in Santa Monica. I'd seen posts about it on facebook and was interested in going so I excitedly said yes. I knew it was a couples event and it was at a comedy club, that was about it. I had no idea how much fun was in store for us...
The night started out with HYSTERICAL comedians (I mean it... they were truly "laugh-out-loud-I-may-have-just-wet-myself" funny) all joking about pregnancy, birth and raising children from their own first-hand experiences. Sprinkled throughout were games, improv sets, lots of trips to the nearby bathroom by all the pregnant mommies, and finally a daddy "boot-camp" and a mommy "what to REALLY expect" discussion group by the ladies at BINI Birth. It was a night of great laughter, delicious food (thanks to Mother Bee's), the best non-alcoholic sangria ever (many MANY thanks to Mr. Slocom) and amazing community.
Thanks Dr. B and the whole team for organizing this amazing event that helped me lose sight of all the worry and anxiety that comes along with being a first-time mommy... even for just a few hours.
We rarely get "personal" or endorse things on this blog but I really wanted reach out and encourage all expecting mommies and their partners to attend this event during your pregnancy for a fun night out. The next event is on August 12th but space is limited to 20 couples so act fast! If you miss one, there's always the next one...
Oh, and we won a Britax car seat. That was the cherry on top :)
